UTS Sport Membership
Each year UTS Sport requires us to resign up to the club via the ActivateUTS website for $5. When we sign up we get one month training for free. Signup link - https://www.activateuts.com.au/clubs/aikido/
Monthly Training Fees
Training fees go towards general club expenses such as training equipment, website, mat hire, instructor costs, marketing, camp subsidies and club social events. Casual per class price is $20 for UTS students and $25 for everyone else.
UTS Students - $35
UTS Staff / other students - $45
UTS Alumni - $50
General Public - $70
Aikido Kokikai Australia (AKA)
Aikido Kokikai Australia (AKA) is the national aikido association that our club belongs to. Annual membership $90 and membership runs on the financial year.
Our club has an unadvertised deal - when you pay your AKA membership you get 3 months training for free. You also get a grading passport.
AKA membership fees are used to cover the cost of running AKA as an organisation, insurance for members, as well as national and regional training camps.
AKA membership is required for gradings. It is also required if you want to train at UNSW or Lindfield dojos. It is also required if you want to go to national and international training camps.
